The Thai government is proactively promoting technology transfer from China to Thailand

The Thai government, which promotes digitization such as smart city as a national project, has strengthened cooperation with China in order to incorporate technologies such as IoT into the country.

In the future, they plan to introduce incentives such as exemption from corporate tax for 15 years, income tax reduction of foreign engineers and actively promote Chinese enterprises to enter Thailand.

In addition, China is attracted to using Thailand as a hub to enter markets such as Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam.

In fact, it seems that concrete progress will be seen, such as a plan for Chinese investors to visit Thailand.

I think that it is necessary for Japanese IT companies to build close relationships with Southeast Asian countries and actively make investment as a viable market in the neighborhood.
